An Introductory Course
This fascinating
course explores crime in modern society, from the causes
of crime to the effectiveness of deterrents.
It examines the relationship between crime and social factors,
as well as the philosophy behind punishment.
In the process, it provides invaluable insight into criminological
theories. It will be particularly relevant to you if you
plan to do probation work, join the police in a civilian
capacity or wish to prepare for more advanced studies. The
course is in two Modules. You can enrol for each Module separately
if you wish.
